§ 832. Burial contracts in Erie county. The board of supervisors of\nthe county of Erie shall have power exclusively, and it shall be its\nduty to contract annually with one or more undertakers for the care,\nremoval and burial of bodies of persons dying within said county, where\nthere are no known relatives, friends or personal representatives of\nsuch deceased persons in the state liable or willing to become\nresponsible for the expense thereof and for the conveyance and delivery\nof such bodies to and from the public morgue of such county and the\nperformance of any other acts incidental thereto. Each undertaker, with\nwhom such a contract shall be made, shall execute and deliver to the\ncounty a bond in such amount, with such sureties and upon such\nconditions as the board shall req
