§ 376. Local laws; resolutions.
1.Whenever in this article the board\nof supervisors is authorized by action taken pursuant to this section,\nto alter or abolish the requirements of any section of this article, or\npart thereof, or to make applicable to the county the provisions of any\nsuch section, or part thereof, not otherwise applicable, such action\nshall be by local law adopted in the manner prescribed in the municipal\nhome rule law. Notwithstanding the provisions of this chapter or any\ngeneral, special or local law, a local law adopted pursuant to this\narticle shall not be subject to a mandatory or permissive referendum.\n 2. Such roll call vote shall be entered\nin the minutes of the board.\n 4. Any local law by which an optional provision of this article is\nmade applicable to a county may be repealed, whereupon such optional\nprovision shall cease to be applicable to such county. Any other local\nlaw, or resolution, adopted pursuant to this article may be amended or\nrepealed, provided that no such local law or resolution shall be amended\nso as to be inconsistent with the mandatory provisions of this article\nor the optional provisions thereof where made applicable. A resolution\nto amend or repeal a resolution previously adopted pursuant to an\nexpress authorization or requirement of this article shall be voted\nupon, and the roll call vote thereon shall be recorded, in the manner\nprovided in subdivision three of this section.\n
