§ 133. Impose penalties and power to remit. The corporation may, in\nits discretion, remit either absolutely, or on such conditions as it\nshall prescribe, any forfeiture incurred by a violation of any provision\nof this chapter, or any of the rules and regulations established by it,\non the written petition of the person liable for the forfeiture, with\ndue proof of the facts on which the application for the remission is\nfounded, which petition and proof and the order thereon shall be filed\nand preserved in the office of the department of audit and control.\n
