1.In\nevery principal office or branch office, bureau, agency or sub-agency of\nany licensee under this article, there shall be conspicuously posted and\nat all times displayed a price list showing the established price\ncharged by the operator of the place of entertainment for which a ticket\nis being sold by such licensee, together with the price being charged by\nsuch licensee for the resale of such ticket, so that all persons\nvisiting such place may readily see the same. The licensee shall also on\nrequest furnish each purchaser of a ticket with a receipt showing the\nsame information. In addition the licensee shall publish in a conspicuous\nplace, or hyperlink to on the internet a statement clearly detailing the\nrequired guarantees required by section 25.07 of this article.\n 2. An online resale marketplace shall post a clear and conspicuous\nnotice on the website that the website is for the secondary sale of a\nticket, that the price of such ticket offered for sale may exceed the\nestablished price and shall also state the refund policy of the platform\nin connection with the cancellation or postponement of an event. An\nonline resale marketplace shall be required to clearly and conspicuously\ndisclose the established price charged by the operator of a place of\nentertainment that is printed or endorsed on the face of each ticket in\naccordance with section 25.07 of this article prior to the user\ncompleting any transaction. An online resale marketplace shall require\nthat the user confirm having read such notices before completing any\ntransaction. For the purposes of this section, an "online resale\nmarketplace" means any operator or manager of a website or other\nelectronic service that resells tickets or serves as a platform to\nfacilitate resale, or resale by way of a competitive bidding process.\n * NB Effective until July 1, 2026\n * § 25.23. Commissions to employees of theatres. No licensee shall pay\nto any officer or employee of any theatre or place of amusement or\nentertainment or other place where public exhibitions, games, contests\nor performances are held, or to any producer or manager or employee of\nany theatrical or other exhibition or theatrical company, any\ncommission, gratuity or bonus in connection with the sale, delivery or\npayment of tickets or in connection with the business being done by such\nlicensee in tickets of admission to such places.\n * NB Effective July 1, 2026\n
