§ 2108. Notice and acceptance of election.
1.The district clerk\nshall forthwith notify in writing each person elected to office of his\nelection and the date thereof.\n 2. Such person shall be deemed to have accepted the office, unless\nwithin five days after the service of such notice, he shall file his\nwritten refusal with the clerk. The presence of any such person at the\nmeeting which elects him to office, shall be deemed a sufficient notice\nto him of his election.\n
