Text

Any local government or special district within the region may, and all participating local governments and special districts shall, file with the regional planning commission all current and proposed plans, zoning ordinances, official maps, building codes, subdivision regulations and project plans for capital facilities and amendments and revisions of any of them as well as copies of their regular and special reports dealing with planning matters. Each governmental unit within the geographic area over which a regional planning commission has jurisdiction shall give the commission a reasonable opportunity to comment upon any proposed plans, zoning, subdivision and platting ordinances, regulations and capital facilities projects and shall consider any comments prior to adopting the plan, or
