Text

A.Any refunding bonds may be issued to refund, pay, and discharge all or any part of such outstanding bonds which may be refunded pursuant to Section 3-51-32 NMSA 1978, including any interest on such bonds in arrears or about to become due within three years from the date of the refunding bonds and for the purpose of avoiding or terminating any default in the payment of interest on and principal of the bonds, of reducing interest cost or effecting other economies, or of modifying or eliminating restrictive contractual limitations appertaining to the issuance of additional bonds or to any system appertaining thereto, or for any combination of the foregoing purposes.
