Text
for bids; contract with lowest bidder. After the hearing, the governing body shall determine the advisability of the order, the improvements to be made, advertise for bids on the work and equipment, and enter into a contract with the lowest bidder for the work and furnishing of necessary supplies. Where the work is to be done by the municipality, by itself or in cooperation with another governmental agency contributing money, labor or materials, it is not necessary to advertise for bids or enter into contracts.
