credit required. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 10-11-27 NMSA 1978, to qualify for payment under state public safety member coverage plan 1, an adult correctional officer member shall have eighteen months of service credit earned under state public safety member coverage plan 1 subsequent to July 1, 2004.
