Text

The duties of the personnel director are: A. with the approval of the personnel board, to establish regulations regarding qualifications, procedures for applying for internships, and related matters; B. to select and place especially talented university or college students, or graduates, as interns in state government; C. to provide orientation and training programs for student interns to prepare them for a career in state government; D. to coordinate the activities of the intern personnel and the various state agencies to obtain the maximum benefits for both the state and the agency personnel; and E. to submit to the personnel board, the governor and the legislature recommendations concerning the intern program.
