10.Whenever it appears to the task force that a person knowingly has refused or failed to comply with applicable domestic security preparedness standards or furnish information required by this act, the Attorney General may institute an action or proceeding in the Superior Court for equitable and other relief, which the court shall order if necessary to preserve, protect or sustain the public safety or well- being. That relief may include assessment for the costs of any investigation, inspection, or monitoring and for the reasonable costs of preparing and litigating a case brought pursuant to this section. Any assessments imposed pursuant to this provisions of this section shall be deposited into the General Fund. L.2001,c.246,s.10.
