Text

Any county emergency management coordinator appointed prior to the effective date of P.L.1985, c.504 (C.App.A:9-42.1a) shall serve for the length of the term to which the coordinator was appointed unless removed for just cause, except that any coordinator not appointed for a specific term shall begin the new term on the effective date of this act. Thereafter, the provision of section 12 of P.L.1953, c.438 (C.App.A:9-42.1) relating to the length of a term shall take effect. L.1985, c.504, s.2; amended 1989,c.222,s.13.
