Text
No hearing may commence under this act unless the court enters a finding: a. That the parent or guardian is present at the hearing or has been served with a copy of the complaint; or b. If the parent or guardian is not present, that every reasonable effort has been made to effect service under sections 18 and 19 hereof. L.1974, c. 119, s. 21, eff. Oct. 10, 1974.
