The State Treasurer is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed and it shall be his duty to set up and maintain the aforementioned appropriations in the Mortgage Assistance Fund, established heretofore pursuant to the act to which this act is a supplement. The funds herein appropriated may be requisitioned by the Department of Community Affairs for the uses and purposes specified herein, subject to the same restrictions and control as are exercised over all other appropriated State funds, but not inconsistent with the provisions of said act. L.1976, c. 133, s. 9, eff. Dec. 27, 1976.
