There is established an Advisory Commission on Hispanic Affairs to consist of 10 members, two to be appointed by the President of the Senate from the members thereof, no more than one of whom shall be from the same political party; two to be appointed by the Speaker of the General Assembly from the members thereof, no more than one of whom shall be from the same political party, the Commissioner of Community Affairs, or his designee, and five public members to be appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate, who are residents of the State and who represent various Hispanic communities within the State.
