9.The Board of Public Utilities shall through the Division of Energy Planning and Conservation: a. Be the central repository within the State Government for the collection of energy information; b. Collect and analyze data relating to present and future demands and resources for all forms of energy; c. Have authority to require all persons, firms, corporations or other entities engaged in the production, processing, distribution, transmission or storage of energy in any form or in the use of steam in quantities greater than 50,000 pounds per hour to submit reports setting forth such information as shall be required to carry out the provisions of this act; d.
