§ 52:27BBB-46 — Powers of authority.

47.Notwithstanding the provisions of any law, rule, regulation or order to the contrary: a. The authority shall issue bonds and refunding bonds, incur indebtedness and borrow money secured, in whole or in part, by money received pursuant to sections 48 and 49 of P.L.2002, c.43 (C.52:27BBB-47 and C.52:27BBB-48), for the purpose of making the deposits described in section 50 of P.L.2002, c.43 (C.52:27BBB-49). The total outstanding principal amount of the bonds shall not exceed $175,000,000. In computing the foregoing limitation as to amount, there shall be excluded all bonds which shall be issued for (1) costs incurred in connection with the issuance of the bonds and (2) refunding purposes, provided that the refunding shall be determined by the authority to result in a debt service savings.
