21.
a.The chief operating officer shall conduct monthly meetings with the mayor, department heads and the executive directors of any independent boards or authorities created by the municipality or which otherwise operate in the name of the municipality. Meetings may be held more frequently, as necessary, at the call of the chief operating officer.
b.During the rehabilitation term, the chief operating officer may veto the minutes of any independent board or authority, including, but not limited to, the housing authority, parking authority, redevelopment authority, planning board and board of adjustment. The mayor shall retain this power during the economic recovery term.
