Before entering upon his duties, the State Treasurer, each division director, any deputy director of the Division of Budget and Accounting, and the deputy State Treasurer shall each make and subscribe an oath, to be filed in the office of the Secretary of State, that he will faithfully, impartially and justly to the best of his ability, perform the duties of his office and carefully preserve all records, papers, writings or property intrusted to him by virtue of his office, and make such disposition of them as may be required by law. The State Treasurer, each division director, any deputy director of the Division of Budget and Accounting, and the deputy State Treasurer shall each give bond conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties.
