The commission shall meet for the purpose of organization as soon as may be practicable after the appointment of its members. The Governor shall select a chairman, who shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor, from among the public members and the members of the commission shall annually select a vice-chairman from among the representatives of the public or municipal or county governments. Nine members of the commission shall constitute a quorum and no matter requiring action by the full commission shall be undertaken except upon the affirmative vote of not less than nine members. The commission shall meet at the call of its chairman or upon the written request of at least nine members. L. 1985, c. 398, s. 3, eff. Jan. 2, 1986.
