6.
a.Any juvenile offender or youthful offender who is serving a term of incarceration may be assigned to the program by the commissioner or commission based upon passing the screening and assessment procedures for admission.
b.If an offender fails to comply with the requirements of the SRP, the offender may be removed from the program to serve the remainder of the sentence originally imposed and shall be eligible for parole pursuant to the provisions of P.L.1979, c.411 (C.30:4-123.51). The offender shall not subsequently be eligible for re-admission to the program. L.1995,c.330,s.6.
