§ 52:17B-16 — Director of Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control

New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
The Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control shall be headed by a director, who shall be a person qualified by training and experience to direct the work of such division. The director of such division shall be appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate, and shall serve during the term of office of the Governor appointing him and until the director's successor is appointed and has qualified; provided, however, that the person in office as State Commissioner of Alcoholic Beverage Control on December 31, 1948, shall hold the office of Director of the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control established hereunder for the unexpired period of the term for which he was appointed as State Commissioner of Alcoholic Beverage Control, and until his successor is appointed and qu
