Text

The authority vested pursuant to existing law in the Board of Tenement House Supervision of the State of New Jersey to appoint, employ or remove officers or employees is hereby transferred to and vested in the Superintendent of State Police designated as the head of the Division of State Police established hereunder. The Superintendent of State Police shall fix the compensation of all persons appointed or employed by him pursuant to such authority. Persons thus appointed or employed shall be assigned to such duties as the Superintendent of State Police shall prescribe. L.1948, c. 439, p. 1712, s. 14.
