14.The council shall not be subject to the provisions of the "Open Public Meetings Act," P.L.1975, c.231 (C.10:4-6 et seq.). The council shall conduct proceedings at which it examines witnesses and receives evidence in public. However, the members of the council may meet on all other matters in closed session.L.1996,c.24,s.14.
