Text
Any consent required by this chapter to be given by any public body may be given by a resolution or ordinance of such body and shall have the force and effect of a contract when accepted by any street railway or traction company in a writing under its corporate seal, filed with the clerk of the public body or in the office of the clerk of the county in which such body exists. Nothing herein shall make the provisions of R.S. 48:2-14 inoperative. Amended by L.1962, c. 198, s. 176.
