a.An applicant who fulfills the requirements of section 9 of this act who has not previously applied to take the examination provided under section 10 of this act may apply to the board for a temporary license. Upon receiving an application for said temporary license, accompanied by a fee of $5.00, the committee shall issue a temporary license which shall entitle the applicant to practice the dispensing and fitting of hearing aids for a period ending 30 days after the conclusion of the next examination given after the date of issue. No temporary license shall be issued by the committee unless the applicant shows to the satisfaction of the committee that he is or will be supervised and trained by a person who holds a valid license or certificate of endorsement issued pursuant to this act.
