17.Every certified public accountant and public accountant licensed to practice public accountancy within this State shall renew his license triennially with the board and pay a triennial license fee established by the board by regulation. Notice of the failure to renew a license and pay the triennial license fee shall be given to any person who fails to do so within 60 days following the license expiration date, which notice shall state that, upon the continued failure to pay that fee, the license issued to that individual will be forfeited at the time and place stated in the notice, unless the fee is paid by the specified time.
