This amendatory and supplementary act is subject to the following provisos: a. Any person who has retired on or before the effective date of this amendatory and supplementary act and is receiving or is entitled to receive a pension and benefits from the retirement system, shall continue to receive the same pension and benefits or shall continue to be entitled to receive the same pension and benefits.
b.Any beneficiary who is receiving a survivor's benefit or is eligible to receive a survivor's benefit as provided by the retirement system on or before the effective date of this amendatory and supplementary act, shall continue to receive or be eligible to receive the survivor's benefit.

This amendatory and supplementary act is subject to the following provisos: a.
