Text

The governing body of a local unit exercising the powers granted by this chapter is authorized to provide by resolution or ordinance, as the case may be, at one time, or from time to time, for the issuance of general obligation bonds of the local unit for the purpose of paying all or any part of the cost of a flood control facility constructed, acquired, improved, operated, maintained, extended, enlarged or reconstructed pursuant to this chapter. The bonds of each issue shall be issued pursuant to the provisions of the "Local Bond Law," (N.J.S. 40A:2-1 et seq.). Source: C. 40:23-40 (P.L. 1977, c. 333, s. 7). L. 1987, c. 179, s. 1.
