Text

1.The board of county commissioners of any county or the governing body of any municipality may establish and maintain a substance use disorder program for the operation or the support of centers for the diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorder. Such program may be carried on by the establishment and operation of separate facilities or by conducting the same in connection with an existing county or municipal institution or by contract with a licensed hospital or the governing body of another municipality.
