Text
Whenever the legally qualified voters of any municipality by a majority of those voting on the question, vote in favor of adopting a change in their form of government pursuant to this act, either by the charter commission method or by direct petition and referendum, the proposed charter or charter amendment or amendments shall take effect according to its terms. L.1950, c. 210, p. 468, s. 1-22, eff. June 8, 1950.
