Each municipality shall be governed by an elected council and a mayor and such other officers as shall be appointed pursuant to this article, general law or ordinance. L.1950, c. 210, p. 495, s. 13-2, eff. June 8, 1950. Amended by L.1981, c. 465, s. 30, eff. Jan. 9, 1982.
