Text

A municipal clerk shall be appointed by the mayor with the advice and consent of council. The municipal clerk shall be qualified by previous training or experience to perform the duties of his office. He shall serve at the pleasure of the council, except as otherwise provided by this act. L.1950, c. 210, p. 497, s. 13-12, eff. June 8, 1950.
