No municipality shall be liable for injury to the person or damage to property as a result of any injury or damage sustained by reason of the construction, use or maintenance by the United States of America of any conduits, manholes or other appurtenances located in, on, over or under any public street, highway or public place, or public property of such municipality. L.1943, c. 209, p. 565, s. 2, eff. April 19, 1943.
