Any ordinance adopted pursuant to this article may, notwithstanding the definition of "employer" in section 2 of this act, provide that the term employer shall not include corporations or associations organized not for profit and operated exclusively for religious, educational, charitable or hospital purposes. L.1970, c. 326, s. 17, eff. Dec. 23, 1970.
