Text
In order to carry out and effectuate its purposes, every municipal authority is hereby authorized to enter upon and connect with any existing public drains, sewers, conduits, pipelines, pumping and ventilating stations and sewage treatment plants or works or any other public property of a similar nature within the district and, if deemed necessary by the municipal authority, close off and seal outlets and outfalls therefrom. No municipal authority shall, however, take permanent possession or make permanent use of any such sewage treatment plant or works unless it acquires the same. L.1957, c. 183, p. 671, s. 51, eff.
