§ 3B:12B-6 — Communication between courts.

6. Communication between courts. a. A court of this State may communicate with a court of another state concerning a proceeding arising pursuant to P.L.2012, c.36 (C.3B:12B-1 et al.). The court may allow the parties to participate in the communication in accordance with the Rules Governing the Courts of the State of New Jersey. b. Except as otherwise provided in subsection c., the court shall make a record of the communication. The record may be limited to the fact that the communication occurred. c. Courts may communicate concerning schedules, calendars, court records, and other administrative matters without making a record. L.2012, c.36, s.6.
