12.Exclusive and continuing jurisdiction. Except as otherwise provided in section 11 of P.L.2012, c.36 (C.3B:12B-11), a court that has appointed a guardian or issued a protective order consistent with P.L.2012, c.36 (C.3B:12B-1 et al.) has exclusive and continuing jurisdiction over the proceeding until the proceeding is terminated by the court, or the appointment or order expires by its own terms. L.2012, c.36, s.12.
