4.International application of the act. A court of this State may treat a foreign country as if it were a state for the purpose of applying all sections of P.L.2012, c.36 (C.32B:12B-1 et al.) except for sections 19 and 20 of P.L.2012, c.36 (C.3B:12B-19 and C.3B:12B-20) pertaining to registration. L.2012, c.36, s.4.
