Text

The State Highway Commissioner of the State of New Jersey be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to accept title on behalf of and in the name of the State of New Jersey to those lands necessary or convenient for use as the eastern terminus and approach to such crossing and for the maintenance or extension thereof, which lands will be located in Salem county, New Jersey, and will extend eastward from the western boundary of the State of New Jersey at a point near the southern bank of the Salem canal. It shall not be deemed an objection to the acceptance of title to any such lands that easements, or rights of use, are outstanding in the hands of private individuals, partnerships, associations or corporations; provided, that such easements or rights of use create no liability on the pa
