Whenever the term "commissioner" occurs or any reference is made thereto in the "General Public Assistance Law," P.L.1947, c.156 (C.44:8-107 et seq.), the same shall be deemed to mean or refer to the Commissioner of Human Services of the State Department of Human Services. Whenever the term "department" occurs or any reference is made thereto in the "General Public Assistance Law," P.L.1947, c.156 (C.44:8-107 et seq.), the same shall be deemed to mean or refer to the Division of Economic Assistance in the State Department of Human Services.
