Nothing in this act shall be construed to require the provision of any medical care or treatment by any nursing home operated by and for the members or adherents of any well recognized church or religious denomination which relies upon spiritual means through prayer alone for healing, where such care or treatment is contrary to the tenets of such church or religious denomination. L.1976, c. 120, s. 9, eff. Nov. 30, 1976.
