Text

A nursing home as defined in section 2 of P.L.1976, c.120 (C.30:13-2) or licensed pursuant to P.L.1971, c.136 (C.26:2H-1 et seq.) shall require in its written policies and procedures that each current employee be given a Mantoux tuberculin skin test, and that each new employee be given the test at the time he commences his employment. If a nursing home has documentation for an employee of a Mantoux tuberculin skin test reaction of ten or more millimeters of induration, the nursing home shall exempt the employee from further tuberculin skin testing.
