4.The provisions of P.L.2018, c.39 (C.2C:39-17 et al.) shall not apply to the possession of a large capacity ammunition magazine solely used as a prop for a motion picture, television, or video production, provided the large capacity ammunition magazine has been reconfigured to fire blank ammunition and remains under the control of a federal firearms license holder. L.2018, c.39, s.4.
