A court of competent jurisdiction may grant temporary and permanent equitable relief, including the imposition of such conditions as may be necessary to protect the environment, or the interest of the public therein, from pollution, impairment or destruction. L.1974, c. 169, s. 6, eff. Dec. 9, 1974.
