The receiver so appointed shall be vested with the title to the said rights and credits and shall have authority to receive and take into possession the remaining property specified in section 2A:17-65 of this title. The receiver shall liquidate by sale or otherwise, pursuant to the order of the court, and apply the same in payment of the judgment against the judgment debtor, the costs of the proceedings thereon and his reasonable compensation, to be taxed by the court, and pay the residue into the court in which the judgment was recovered or docketed, for disposal according to law. The court shall order the judgment debtor to convey and deliver to such receiver all the property and rights in action and the evidence thereof.
