§ 2A:33-19 — Actions against distrainor; double costs in certain cases
New Jersey·Title 2A ADMINISTRATION OF CIVIL AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE
In any action brought to recover damages for an alleged wrongful distress or wrongful act after distraint, a defendant, in whose favor judgment is rendered, shall be entitled to recover double costs. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344.
