Text

No sale of goods or chattels shall be made by virtue of any execution without previous notice of the time and place of the intended sale, given by the officer making the levy, by advertisements, signed by the officer and posted at least 5 days before the time appointed for the sale in the office of the sheriff of the county or counties where the property is situate. The notice need not be posted at any other place. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344.
