Text
Except as otherwise provided by law, the Commissioner of Transportation shall have the following functions, powers and duties: a. Approve or reject any proposed monorail project, including its route; b. Set fares for monorail systems; and c. Establish safety standards for the operation of monorail systems. L. 1985, c. 538, s. 8, eff. Jan. 21, 1986; per s.12, expired on January 21, 1991.
