Text
When it appears necessary for the convenience of the people in any registration district, the local registrar may, with the approval of the State registrar, appoint one or more suitable persons to act as subregistrars, who shall be authorized to receive certificates of births and deaths and to issue burial or removal permits and transit permits in or for such portions of the district as may be designated. Amended by L.1965, c. 78, s. 42.
